Shannon McKie, MCIP, RPP

Shannon has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and is a full member Canadian Institute of Planning and Ontario Professional Planners Institute. She has over 20 years of experience and has held leadership roles in Development Planning, Policy Planning and Zoning with the City of Hamilton’s Planning and Economic Development Department.

Having led several significant planning initiatives in the City of Hamilton including the Downtown Hamilton Secondary Plan and the introduction of multiplex zoning permissions, Shannon brings her creative problem-solving skills and extensive consultation experience to our projects. With a proven ability to navigate complex planning challenges and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, she is committed to delivering innovative solutions that align with community needs and long-term development goals.

Her work has not only shaped the landscape of Hamilton but also earned her recognition by the Canadian Institute of Planners and West End Home Builders Association.
